The Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16 playoffs trudges on with eight teams continue to fight tooth and nail in order to reach Championship glory. Here are the top performers from Thursday night's action starting with the Game of the Week where FC's Ezram Lorbek was selected as Player of the Game.
Ezram's teammate, Nate Jawai, also earned top honors grabbing the Play of the game along with the Block of the Night as well.
Much of Thursday's honor went to the other Spanish team as Real Madrid would grab up the Nightly Notable courtesy of Nikola Mirotic. Real Madrid power forward opened the record book against Zalgiris Kaunas, going perfect in 18 trips to the charity line to set competition records for both the most free throws ever made in a single game and the most accurate free-throw shooting performance. A two-time Euroleague Rising Star Award winner, Mirotic led Los Blancos to a monumental road victory with 31 points, 11 rebounds, both career highs, 2 blocked shots, 9 fouls received.
Real Madrid's Rudy Fernandez would also earn Thusday's Assist of the Night thanks to this great dish to his teammate giving Spain five awards in Thursday's action.
The night would not be completely owned by FC and Real Madrid, however as Zalgiris' Tremmel Darden would take way the Dunk of the Night . . .
while Maccabi's Ricky Hickman would steal the show with Thursday's Play of the Night.
