SDH Presents a Basketball Move to Get Past Defenders Tutorial

The behind the back intro between the legs combo is one of those basketball moves that can be used in a variety of game situations to get past defenders. The great part about this move is that it can be executed on the fast break and also in the half court set offense. A key point to keep in mind with the behind the back is that there are two ways to execute the move - you can either do it more on the move and pushing the ball out, or you can do it from more of a quick set stance and doing a pound dribble. Each type of behind the back dribble has it's advantages, but if you execute the entire combo correctly you should have great protection over the basketball at all times, while allowing you to get past your defender. That's a true win-win situation when you can effectively move past your defender without jeopardizing your protection over the basketball.

It is highly suggested you get a bunch of repetitions in of this move to become comfortable with executing it properly and you can start breaking ankles, getting past defenders and getting to the rim more easily.
