Going WAY Back: SDH Presents "NB80's: Patrick Ewing"

In the 80's a tall center named Patrick Ewing made his entrance into the NBA. Patrick Ewing was the first prize of the NBA's original draft lottery!  Unfortunately, he did not make his mark until the 1990s because he spent much of his career injured and the Knicks were just a 20 odd win team in his first couple of years.  If it were not for Pat Riley taking over as the Knicks' head coach, Ewing would have faded away in to obscurity.  Instead Ewing, right or wrong, is considered as one of the greatest big men to have graced the NBA and one of the best players to have never won an NBA championship.
