In this episode of +BBALLBREAKDOWN +Coach Nick gets on the court to demonstrate how Tony Parker gets so many great shots for both himself and his teammates. By utilizing "The Loop," the Spurs put tremendous pressure on the defense by running Parker off of 3 consecutive screens around the court. Just when the defense turns its head towards Parker, an opening is created for another player to get an easy shot.
No other team runs this set, even though quite a few have fast and aggressive point guards that would thrive in it. Watch for both the +Atlanta Hawks (Mike Budenholzer) and +Philadelphia 76ers (Brett Brown) to run it this year, as they are now coached by former Gregg Popovich assistants.
