The +Memphis Grizzlies went all the way to the 2013 Western Conference Finals but couldn't get past the +San Antonio Spurs ! Can they improve their offense enough with Mike Conley, Zach Randolph, Mike Miller, and Marc Gasol to reach the Finals? Personally I don't even think they can reach the playoffs because the Grizzlies have simply reached their peak--Randolph is not getting any younger and as JR said, other than him and Gasol, there's little or nothing else to speak of in terms of offense. With an emerging +Houston Rockets team along with up and comers such as the +Portland Trail Blazers and the +Minnesota Timberwolves, I don't see Memphis doing what they did last season, especially with the roster they have now. You can see make take on the Grizz in my Preseason Worst to First Countdown, but I have to warn you, it's not going to be pretty especially if you are a Memphis fan and always keep watching +Slap Dog Hoops for the all the latest news, notes, and highlights mixed in with witty banter and insightful analysis.
