Jason Collins became the first openly gay athlete to play in an NBA game yesterday in the +Brooklyn Nets' 108-102 win over the +Los Angeles Lakers. Albeit it was a 10 day contract, Collins may have a chance to continue his career in the NBA if he impresses other teams around the leauge or the Nets sign him for the rest of the season.
