No player in the Class of 2014 garnered more awards than Jahlil Okafor, the 6'11 center from Whitney Young, a Chicago public high school. Duke-bound Okafor was named national player of the year by McDonald's, Parade and USA Today leading his Dolphins team (27-6) to the Illinois Class 4A state title. A rare back to the basket center, Okafor averaged 24.1 points and 11.3 rebounds playing a national schedule. He was also co-MVP of the McDonald's All American game and co-MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic.
