Allen Iverson jersey was recently retired at the Wells Fargo Center and gave a heartwarming speech not just to the 76ers team and his playing career, but to the people of Philadelphia. Iverson was picked first overall in the 1996 NBA Draft out of Georgetown and brought a rawkus crowd to home games. He played 10 years for the 76ers, was an NBA MVP, an 11-time NBA All Star Game selection, Rookie of the Year award winner, a four-time NBA scoring champion and led the Sixers to the NBA Finals.
